About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics in Edinburgh, working on particle physics phenomenology with a special focus on physics beyond the Standard Model. I am a member of the NNPDF collaboration where we study the structure and contents of the proton using Machine Learning techniques. I obtained my PhD at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and Nikhef supervised by Juan Rojo.
I am broadly interested in the phenomenology of the Standard Model, the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), global EFT fits, ultraviolet (UV) matching and higher power factorisation theorems in gauge theories. I am also involved in an interdisciplinary project with the TU Delft where we use ML techniques to study electronic properties of nano-layered materials. Beyond research I am passionate about art and some of my works you might already have found when landing on this website.
